Union Members,

We will continue going through the contract on June 28,2016 starting at 6:30pm at Station 53 in the training room.  Those of you that did not make the last meeting I would encourage you to try and make this one.  We made great progress, and it was a very productive meeting.  I will take the time in the beginning to go over what transpired at the last meeting for those of you that were not there.  Also, please be aware that from this point forward I will be communicating through a new email address.  My new “UNION BUSINESS ONLY” email address is tarantino.local1826@yahoo.com is now active, so please do not give it to anyone outside our union members.  Due to the broad public records laws, if I communicate private discussions over the districts email it is vulnerable to public record requests by anyone outside our union.  I will transmit union meeting times, and negotiation meeting times for now over the districts email, anything else will be by private email.  I would encourage you to sign up for a lastname.local1826@yahoo.com email so I can send you the more important emails during this negotiation process.  Please let me know when you sign up for the new “union only” email address so I can add you to my list of contacts.
